Individual therapy for young adults (however you may define that), and teens. You might be brand new to the world of therapy, or a seasoned therapy-goer. All are welcome!
You might be coming to therapy with a clear concern such as depression, anxiety, stress, or family conflict. Or, you might be searching out therapy because something feels off. Maybe you’re seeking therapy for your growing child because their behavior has notably shifted or their mood seems diminished. Or, maybe you’re looking into therapy for yourself because recently, everything feels like too much to hold on your own. My hope is that you find therapy to be a sanctuary, where we get to focus totally and completely on you. You are so important.
Therapy can look like a lot of things! I draw from attachment theory, feminist theory, and systems theory, amongst others. I practice a strengths-based and trauma-informed approach throughout the various modalities and theories that I utilize. I lean towards a mostly talk-therapy style, though we might also incorporate art, mindfulness, and/or skill-building, if they feel like the right fit.
Above all else, we will work to better understand and support all that is YOU (your patterns, identities, relationships, and more!), all with deep care and compassion.
Therapy currently offered over zoom, with plans in the mid-term to offer in-person sessions in SW Portland.

Sometimes, joining together as a family is beneficial towards supporting the individual client! We will work together to determine if this might be a good fit, and how it may be complementary to individual therapy services.
